How do you measure a year?

I'm glad to be teaching two courses at Miami-Dade. I think they will help me in the future. I'd be a great community college professor. Think of that: A college professor! How proud!

Still, I'm going to give my students my ALL this next semester. I wrote some ideas on my other blog.

As Rent asked, "How do we measure the life of a woman or a man?"

Joking around vs. learning something

How much can a student learn if they are having fun? Are the two mutually exclusive?

How loud is too loud? How late is too late? As a teacher I have to set the tone.

Preparation and planning go so far to making the class successful.

I'm glad I discovered this blog again. It seems to be a bit more reflective than my other "teaching" blog. Still it was nice to read the old memories. :)

Drug with possible mystic effects

This is positively amazing. People who have taken shrooms have found it to be, on average, up there with the birth of a child or the death of their parents. Fascinating.
